3 Sensationalism v. Propaganda
Sensationalism - the use of exciting or shocking stories or language at the expense of accuracy, in order to provoke public interest or excitement Goal – Sell a story, make Money!!! Propaganda - information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. Goal – Sell an idea, change opinion.
