Makes current members feel connected Can provide you feedback Provides customer service tool Markets your chapter and current programs Current communication trend Solidifies your reputation as a valuable and knowledgeable resource New and potential new members will look at your web page What they see may impress them or not Current members will like “liking’ their page, accessing LinkedIn and sending tweets to Chapter By tracking hits, and checking responses will give you feedback Let them send you feedback- great use as a customer service tool Promote your next meeting or event… Social is very popular and you can be deemed as “not current” if you don’t have/use current technology Reputation is everything- even if you’re small but have cool tools- you will be judged by how technologically savvy you are

Start with Big Three Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn Be sure to monitor activity notifications Check manually Have multiple “administrators” Keep it Simple principle works- still impressive Talk about what Orlando uses Feedback from members & how it has helped the chapter Monitor activity and respond to inquiries--- people talk and remember Don’t just have one administrator- have two or more- To keep page current Be responsive Help each other Seals the deal and shows you’re paying attention and care Talk about what Houston uses You can link them all so you’re only posting once.
