2. Positive Role Model
A positive role model has kindness and should be very helpful. A positive role model should demonstrate confidence and leadership, they are always positive, calm and always confident in themselves and other people. They do helpful things without being asked and everyone enjoys being around people like that.

3. Negative Role Model
Negative role models take/steal things from other people. They are rude because they are doing things that they aren’t supposed to do and against other people’s will. They show bad examples and most of the time get away with it. They think it is okay, and they have never learned right from wrong.

4. What Young People Look For In A Role Model
A role model should be kind and trustworthy. They should be kind to each other. They should not judge other people for who they are. Bad things have been said to a lot of people and it hasn’t been a fun experience.

5. Role Model in our local community
Mayor Nenshi is a positive role model because he helps the community solve problems. He is very kind and wise as well. If there is a problem he will try his best to figure out what would work best.

7. Positive Role model in our global community
Malala is a good role model because:
She stood up for her rights and others. She is very kind to others and thinks positively about herself and other people. She believes that everyone deserves a nice educated life.

8. If I were to ask Malala questions some of them would be:
What changes has winning the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize had upon your life?
Have you always been so fearless and calm, or were you worried at certain points when you were living in Pakistan?
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
How do you deal with all the attention you receive?
Do you feel as though the attack you suffered was part of a larger plan, part of your destiny even?

9. Negative role model in our global community
Abby Lee Miller is the Director of Reign Dance Production and the main character of Dance Moms. She is a negative role model because she pushes her students almost over the edge with the excuse of it toughens them up for competition. She embarrasses her students and shames them, and uses that as a “great tool”. When she is not doing that she is screaming out insults at them or their parents all in the name of preparing her students to compete.

What is your favourite out of your two jobs being a Dance Mom or teaching competition? Why?
