Listening is Key Over the last few weeks, we have noticed that the students are more chatty, not listening, and therefore, missing what we are covering in class. The material and pace at which we are coving new material has picked up drastically compared to before Christmas/Winter break!! Please reinforce at home the importance of listening. Listening helps us to learn, follow directions, and be safe. We will buckling down more on behavior in class. During our morning meetings, we will be reviewing our class expectations daily. Learner Profile of the Month: Balanced We understand the importance of balancing different aspects of our lives—intellectual, physical, and emotional—to achieve well-being for ourselves and others. We recognize our interdependence from other people and with the world in which we live. **If you read this newsletter, please send me an stating “I read it!” There is a small treat awaiting your child!  Mrs. Stephanie Stone address: Coddle Creek Elementary School Phone number: 141 Frank’s Crossing Loop Mooresville, NC Website:
