I would like to have a different present situation.
I would prefer things to be different now, but they can’t (or it is very unlikely that they will) be.

5. Wish
I wish you would stop missing classes. (It is possible for you to stop missing classes.)
I wish my neighbour would stop practicing the drums after midnight. (It is possible for him to stop playing drums late at night)
I wish the rain would stop.
I wish the bus would come.
