2 About Me Attended the University of Arizona and Dodge City Community College Major: Bachelor of Arts in Education Number of years teaching: 24 years Why I teach: I teach because it is fulfilling to help young students see their potential within. I understand how the leadership in my life has impacted me and want to do the same for our young students. Hobbies/Interests: I read a lot of inspirational writings on leadership and obtaining the potential within self. Writing has become a major focus. I have written an autobiography and is currently working on more writing projects.

3 Classroom Requirements
Supply Lists: No. 2 pencils, colored pencils, pencil sharpener (top to collect shavings), large eraser, highlighters, pencil case, spiral-bound notebooks, loose-leaf notebook paper, scissors, and glue sticks. Grade Weights: Formal Written Assignments…20% Tests and Projects…30% Quizzes…20% Class Work…20% Homework…10% Homework: It is the policy of Renaissance Middle School to assign homework as a reinforcement of concepts learned in class; it is up to the discretion of the teacher as to whether it is assigned daily or over the weekend. Evaluation of homework may consist of detailed grading, generalized checking, or a combination of both techniques.
