3 Student Background Checks
Conducted by the Office of the Dean of Students Student disciplinary standing Significantly impactful concerns that pose a risk to student safety or well-being Program Director and CUAbroad will speak with you to ensure you understand your behavioral expectations while abroad. As a representative of CUA you should understand your responsibilities while serving as an ambassador overseas.

4 Code of Student Conduct
Primarily a procedural document, includes behavioral expectations. Application of the Code may work differently overseas (i.e. alcohol consumption, legal drinking age); but behavior standards remain consistent. Program Directors and CUAbroad staff are expected to have discussions about distinct standards of behavior before students depart for their respective experience.

5 Addressing Issues What you can expect:
Program Director/affiliated professional staff will address the situation by meeting with you to discuss the incident and possible concerns; Program Director will consult with CUAbroad regarding appropriate follow-up; CUAbroad will involve DOS staff and other CUA offices as necessary; and Appropriate documentation will be completed for necessary follow-up.
