Vertical velocity indicate negative values over Western parts of Africa thus ascending of air but for some parts of Africa shows sinking of air.
And since over Western parts of Africa there was high moisture availability and ascending of air we expect heavy rainfall.
Therefore for the coming four days high rainfall is expected to intensify over western Africa and shifting to East Africa on the last two days.
