(3) Known for flower portraits and dessert landscapes, O'Keeffe was one of the most recognized artist's of the 20th Century. (4) She gained the attention of the art world with the help of her husband a photographer named Alfred Stieglitz. (5) She been born in Sun prairie, Wisconsin on November 15, 1887.

The topic can be about anything as long as you illustrate two voices

Create your own Step 1: Choose two items, objects, or people that have a relationship Examples: Book characters, family members, animals, seasons, flowers, friends Step 2: Brainstorm some words, ideas or phrases for each side Think about how the items are similar and/or different from each other (compare & contrast) Step 3: Write your poem on one paper-your partner on another Decide if you will ever share a line Write your poem together on one page (if you share a line, that one goes in the middle of the page) Choose your diction: formal or informal, which words convey what you want to say? Connotation: choose words that MEAN something-that evoke a certain feeling
