19. First, plan your plaque on paper. It must be at least 4 inches but no bigger than 10 inches in width and length. If your plaque is an irregular shape you may want to cut out the pattern from your paper. Squares, ovals, rectangles. Etc. may be done directly on the clay but should be measured. Be sure to use slip when adding clay to the tile. Dont forget to include holes for suspending the plaque from a wire or rope.
