Phylogenetic relationship of HCV NS3 protease sequences obtained from patients A and B and from another 26 patients attending our clinic.6 Bootstrap analysis (100 repetitions) was performed to determine the reliability of the sample grouping (numbers at branch nodes). An asterisk indicates an NS3 protease clone carrying the resistance genotype. Phylogenetic analysis was performed using the MEGA5 software package with a Kimura 2-parameter model of evolution.7 The HCV NS3 sequences obtained and characterized in this study were submitted to the GenBank database under the following accession numbers: KF KF and KJ KJ
