POST-WAR ARMED RESISTANCE (1944 – 1953 )
Aims of armed resistance are: - Restore an independent Lithuania, expel the Red Army from the country; - Consolidate democracy; - Refund national, patriotic, national Lithuanian values; - Reset the freedom of the Catholic Church.

The armed resistance did not reach targets - Lithuania was sovietised before It remained a part of the Soviet Union.
