1945 beginning of the second Lithuanian Sovietization:      a) The Communist Party dictatorship;      b) nationalization;      c) the collectivization;      d) industrialization;      e) Mass deportations;      f) The political repression;      g) Atheism;      h) ideologized culture.

4 POST-WAR ARMED RESISTANCE (1944 – 1953 )
Aims of armed resistance are: -  Restore an independent Lithuania, expel the Red Army from the country; -  Consolidate democracy;  - Refund national, patriotic, national Lithuanian values​​;  - Reset the freedom of the Catholic Church.

5 The armed resistance did not reach targets - Lithuania was sovietised before It remained a part of the Soviet Union.

9 REGAINING INDEPENDENCE OF LITHUANIA IN 1990.
Restorative Parliament proclaimed restoration of Lithuanian Independence. Lithuania became a member of the United Nations.
