Food Quality Protection act 1996
F.Q.P.A The draft year This was a national law This law protected standardized the way the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) would manage the use of pesticides and amended the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act and the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act. Some of the major requirements include stricter safety standards, especially for infants and children, and a complete reassessment of all existing pesticide tolerances.

This law was passed as passed unanimously by Congress and then signed into law by President Clinton on August 3, 1996. EPA needed to develop methodologies to perform more refined pesticide risk assessments, to better reflect real-world situations. By Morgan Ledenko Pd6 Bodas
