To familiarize students about their rich tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
Develop interest of children in conservation of cultural heritage of their region. Create a mini museum containing artifacts collects by students.

PARTICIPANTS & FACILITATORS
Students and teachers of different schools of the district. Tribal museum, Koraput. JNV, Koraput. Other like-minded people interested for preservation of cultural heritage of Koraput. Teachers and students of undivided Koraput district.

OVERVIEW OF THE DISTRICT
It is a tribal dominated district of southern parts of Orissa, India. At present it is one of the most disturb district in India due to maoist problem. Area: 8379 sq Km. Altitude: 2900 ft. above sea level Population:11,77,954 Rainfall: 1522 mm (Average) Languages:Tribal language, Oriya, Telugu Clothing: Heavy woolen in winter Latitude: N to N Langitude: E to E

METHODOLOGIES The project starts with a meeting of teachers and students of different schools in Koraput district. Teachers and student are trained to use different tools of communication and the what, how and where to collect cultural heritage. Students are asked to collect and document tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the district. They will upload those resources to the web page There will be regular online communication through video conference, , bulk messages etc. between the facilitators and students.

VIDEO CONFERENCE The teachers and students will establish contact through video conference at regular interval by using “skype” and regular updates and works done by students will be shared.

BULK MESSAGE The updates about the web page will be informed to participants who have registered their mobile number in group culturalheritage of gupshup.com

OTHERS Some other tools like digital camera to record different cultural features, and softwares like adobe photoshop, ms office will be in extensive use.

CONCLUSION The participating children will be encouraged to bring the folklores, folksongs, different religious activities, traditional games and artifacts found in their locality. These items will be preserved in the school and documented in the web page. Everybody are invited to the web site to give their valuable suggestions and comments.
