5 Part 121 ETOPS Part 121 air carriers that are flying greater distances from airports must obtain ETOPS approval from the FAA whenever operations exceed: 60 minutes flying time from an adequate airport for 2 engine airplanes 180 minutes flying time from an adequate airport for passenger carrying airplanes with more than 2 engines

6 Part 135 ETOPS Applies to 135 operations flying greater than 180 minutes from an adequate airport 14 CFR Part
