READING &WRITING Tomball ISD has embraced the Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop Model. Some of the key elements of this model are: Giving each reader and writer a choice in what they want to read and write about. The time needed to really engage our readers and writers. - The flexibility to see each student individually. The flexibility to assess where they are currently performing and where we want them to go. - Allowing each student to be a successful reader and writer.
