Course Selection: points
Student Log-in: there is no separate parent log-in for MyBlueprint Course selection is not first-come, first-serve. This process determines how many sections of each course we need to prepare for, based on student demand. No student will be prejudiced by making their selections on the first day versus the third day. Prerequisite missing: In cases where a student does not have the prerequisite for a course selected for next year, but intends to take the prerequisite in the summer, please “submit” course selections anyway, and follow the instructions in Steps 2 - 4, below. Summer School Forms: parent signature required. Print The Course Selection Sign off: rank electives Three Alternates: after you print (rank them)

Creating Pathways to Success
The goals of the Education and Career/Life Planning Program are to: ensure that students develop the knowledge and skills they need to make informed education and career/life choices; provide classroom and school-wide opportunities for this learning; and engage parents and the broader community in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the program, to support students in their learning.
21
Individual Pathways Plan
Students will need to create and maintain an Individual Pathways Plan (IPP) during Grades 7 to 12. The IPP becomes the planning tool for course selection, goal setting and postsecondary destination planning.

Pathways Resources Useful Web Sites for Career and Post-Secondary studies information Students in Career Education classes have been introduced to two web sites that will serve them well throughout their secondary school years and beyond. All students are urged to return to these useful sites as they research post-secondary options. Students are encouraged to update their IPP twice yearly, to ensure they know potential pathways and are setting goals to achieve these pathways. 1. User name: lpci and Password: careers This award winning site allows students to explore hundreds of occupations under headings such as the post-secondary education requirements, career path, earnings, job description and related careers. 2. Activation code: lparkci or use the drop down menu to select Lawrence Park C.I. 3. fantastic resource for parents and students! Student: TDSBJPD Pswd: TDSB
