Cymhelliant Ydych chi’n gwybod beth sy’n fy nghymell i reoli fy ngyrfa? Pa mor bwysig yw rheoli gyrfa i mi? Pa mor hyderus ydw i fy mod yn gallu rheoli fy sefyllfa? Faint o ymdrech ydw i’n barod i’w wneud o ran rheoli fy ngyrfa? Advisers should have a range of tools in the toolkit, including Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Coaching, techniques drawn from NLP and life coaching. As BI team, we need to know these techniques so we can coach and train (think back to Liane Hambly training, both on the model, for managers and for theory unit). Motivational Interview training coming next year – BI to have an extra train-the-trainer day.

Gwneud Penderfyniadau
Pa mor ymwybodol ydw i o’r ystod o arddulliau gwneud penderfyniadau sy’n bodoli a pha ddull ydw i’n ei ffafrio? Ydw i’n gallu defnyddio arddulliau eraill yn ôl y galw? Pa mor ymwybodol ydw i o ddylanwadau allweddol sy’n effeithio ar y broses o wneud penderfyniadau? Pa mor dda ydw i’n gallu gwerthuso risgiau? Ydw i’n gallu gwneud penderfyniadau realistig? Decision-making is the core of guidance. Clients should come away with decision-making skills that they can transfer to other contexts to make better decisions for themselves.

Hunanymwybyddiaeth Pa mor ymwybodol ydw i o fy ngwerthoedd a fy nghredoau, fy adeiladwaith personol, sut mae pobl arall yn fy ngweld a fy agwedd tuag at gymryd risgiau o ran rheoli fy ngyrfa? Pa mor ymwybodol ydw i o fy nghryfderau a fy ngwendidau a sut bydd hynny, o bosibl, yn effeithio ar fy ngyrfa yn y dyfodol? Pa mor dda y gallaf i esbonio fy nghryfderau? Realism is an important part of guidance – clients should evaluate realism for themselves rather than us telling them what they can and can’t do. Need to help clients realise their strengths and limitations. Advisers should be getting predicted grades from school for Y11. Key part of phase 2 is reflecting back issues and agreeing the guidance needs – this is helps to focus phase 3 and give the client ownership. Prioritising – what is most important to you?

I ba raddau y gallaf leoli, dehongli a gweithredu gwybodaeth am y farchnad lafur er mwyn gwneud cynlluniau gyrfa realistig?

Gweithredu I ba raddau y gallaf greu fy nghynlluniau gweithredu fy hun? Ydw i’n gwybod beth sydd angen ei wneud nesaf? Pa mor ymrwymedig ydwyf i fy nghynllun gweithredu? Oes gennyf y sgiliau angenrheidiol i roi fy nghynllun gweithredu ar waith? Pa mor gymwys ydw i o ran technegau chwilio am swydd, ffurflenni cais a chyfweliadau? Develop planning skills rather than just a plan, so client is able to re-plan as needed.

Gwytnwch Pa mor effeithiol ydw i o ran rheoli newidiadau?
Pa mor effeithiol ydw i o ran delio â phroblemau, anawsterau a rhwystrau? Pa mor effeithiol ydw i o ran addasu fy nghynlluniau? Pa mor effeithiol ydw i o ran adnabod ffynonellau cymorth posibl? Beth yw fy lefel hunan-barch, hunanwerth a dyfalbarhad?
