2 Feeling stressed? How much does stress affect you?
How much are u prepred to admit? Does stressss stop u from starting any type of revision? Stress affects all of us in very different ways Which one of these are u?

How do you eat an elephant? In small parts over a long period of time and mix the nasty bits with the nice ones. The same goes for revision On to confidence charts

5 Memory mapping A great skill for remembering lots of facts about a topic Gets everything you know about a topic on one piece of paper Condenses information as you can use words and pictures Is personal to you and your memory Can be stuck on your bedroom walls or even your ceiling!

7 Paired activity Create a mind map about your partner
Find out about their family, hobbies, likes and dislikes (food, music), style, ambition Don’t forget to use colours, pictures and words to record your research.

8 Let your fingers do the walking!
Talk yourself through what you’ve found out. We need ana activity to go with this will provide the resouce. Simply be a list of words to learn on a page which they will have to memorise by walking the fingers over the page.

9 Test yourselves! Cover your sheets up
Show your partner how much you remember. Imagine that your memory map is in front of you Get those fingers walking!

Sort out your sequence and get sticking On the stairs On doors Round the kitchen Round your room or the bathroom Around the mirror for when you’re perfecting that hair! Good for learning your novel, key facts about a topic (history), or steps in a maths solution

12 Index cards are a really great tool for revision
There are two main ways to use index cards to help you revise: Summarise key information on the cards. Use a different card for each topic and colour code the facts Write a question on one side of the card and the answer on the reverse. Test yourself or get a friend / parent to test your knowledge!

Topic: Magnetic Attraction A magnet only attracts certain metals. This attraction is called magnetic attraction.

How can you block magnetism? (Answer on the reverse of the card: By putting a piece of magnetic material in the way.)

15 Teamwork Share the load Get together a team of up to 4 people
Give each person a topic to revise Each person creates index cards or Q and A cards for their topic Get together and teach it to each. Always give each other a test to see what still needs to be learnt.

16 Test out your teamwork! On the next slide is a short poem.
It has eight lines in two stanzas. Your team needs to learn it. You will have one and a half minutes to look at it. You have one minute to organise your team!
