Why you should use figurative language in your writing
That building is so tall that it can touch the sky! Sally sold seashells by the seashore. Little Lucy loves to lick little lemon lollipops. These are all examples of figurative language. This is why you should use figurative language. First, it makes your writing more interesting. It makes it more interesting because it paints a picture in the reader’s mind. It is a better way to explain something. Example: That dog is as fat as a pig! Next, because it is sort of like exaggerating. Here is an example: That girl is as tall as a building! Chances are, the girl is not really as tall as a building. Finally, it makes more people want to read your writing piece. Figurative language makes people want to read it because it exaggerates and makes your writing piece more interesting. It also gives the reader a better idea of what is happening in the writing. I hope you decide to use figurative language when you write! Remember, when you use figurative language you are making your writing WAY more interesting!
