I am a WAVE, or a woman accepted for volunteer emergency service
I am a WAVE, or a woman accepted for volunteer emergency service. I work in the Navy, so I am at sea most of my time.

I have to struggle to see these things daily. Sometimes I have to just sit and watch and sometimes I can help.

I am a Seaman Second Class WAVE. I get paid $145. 50 per month
I am a Seaman Second Class WAVE. I get paid $ per month. I am able to support my family at home with this income.

My son and my husband were very close
My son and my husband were very close. It was very hard for us to leave our children, but we knew we had to, to fend for our family.

My husband is a spy in Europe
My husband is a spy in Europe. He helped me get my job because he is in the business too.

This was my badge from when I was a WAVE
This was my badge from when I was a WAVE. It has “Mother” because we get these pins to show if we are mothers or not.
