Summary: Outcome: Jackson opposed the National Bank On September 10, 1833 Jackson vetoed the 2nd Bank of the U.S. McCulloch v. Maryland The Whig party tried to recharter the Bank He removed all funds from the Bank Nicholas Biddle- tried to recharter the Bank in 1832 Redistributing them various to pet banks. Jackson succeeded in destroying the Bank Analysis: Charter expired in 1836 The Common Man - Supports Sectionalism- South and West Jackson supported Bank was for the upper class Supported state power Leticia Da Silva, Norbert Gruca, Dylan Warnasiri, Megan Phu Gave state banks power
