The Voters Choice Act (SB 450) Modernizing The Voting Experience
ONE DAY 11 DAYS VOTERS CHOICE ACT NOW ONE LOCATION 6 LOCATIONS NO DROP BOXES 4 DROP BOXES LIMITED CHOICES MORE CHOICES Voters can only vote at one assigned location on one day between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm. Voters who want to vote in person may do so for 11 days, including weekends, at 2 locations and for 4 days at 6 locations Voting equipment is limited to one device per voting location. Every vote center will have at least 3 fully accessible devices. Paper Rosters are printed in advance, and often require supplemental printing. Electronic rosters accessing data in real time and would allow for up to date information. Mail ballots can be dropped at 4 drop boxes up to 28 days in advance, postage free or as early as 10 days in advance at vote centers. Voters must mail their ballot or drop ballot at precincts on election day only. The Voters Choice Act gives Madera County Voters more choices in how and when they vote! What do you think?
