The Giver RAFT You will take on either the role of Jonas or Lily. Depending on which role you choose, you will write a letter to either Jonas’ immediate family and the Community of Elders discussing why you decided to leave and take Gabe OR you will write a letter (as Lily) to Jonas describing what has happened in the community since he left.
You should use the format of a letter with a greeting, at least three paragraphs and a closing.
You should write a rough draft in pencil and your FINAL COPY IN BLUE OR BLACK INK.

5. Your completed letter is due at the end of the class period.
