Stakeholders in Champaign County form an Employment First Workgroup to develop a plan to enact Employment First in Champaign County.

4. November 2014
A seven year plan is introduced to the Champaign County Developmental Disabilities Board (CCDDB) that identified a transition for people participating in traditional day program as well as people on waiting lists and transition age youth.

5. July 2015
Grant application funded through CCDDB to implement Employment First in Champaign County and Partners In Employment comes to fruition.

6. Partners for Employment
Partners for Employment of Champaign County exists to empower, engage, inspire, and challenge the community in the growth of job opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
