Subject-Verb Agreement
Select the correct verb (just write the verb) The tools (belong/belongs) to the mechanic. The students (walk/walks) quickly to get to class on time. The milk (arrive/arrives) each morning at six. He (sing/sings) in the school choir. Present Tense Rule: No double ‘s’ One thing= ‘s’ on the verb: The cat purrs Plural thing = NO ‘s’ on the verb: Cats purr. Never: The cats purrs (double ‘s’ is wrong)
