10. EuP - Next preparatory studies
Further studies will be launched late 2006/beginning 2007 for product groups having significant greenhouse gas emission reduction potential (indicative list):

industrial air compressors
electric heating appliances (incl. heat pumps)
domestic or industrial lighting
vacuum cleaners
set-up boxes

11. Process/calendar for adopting implementing measures
Preparatory study to determine whether and which ecodesign requirements should be set: months (with technical workshop to validate the draft final report)
Submission of first draft to the Consultation Forum: 5 months after workshop
Submission of draft measure to the Committee (after impact assessment and interservice consultation): 3 months after Forum
Adoption by the Commission (European Parliament scrutiny, WTO notification, translations, written procedure): 4 months
