DEALING WITH TROUBLES
9
Are you having troubles right now with your family, at work, at school, in the church, etc.?
You will probably laugh at my question and say: Who doesn't? No, I am not talking about just any troubles, I am talking about those troubles when you feel like if the water is now at your throat choking you and that you cannot breathe anymore! I am taking about those troubles that are hindering you from serving God because they are in your mind all day long. One bad news, after another, after another, etc… Like Job
10
“Are you having troubles in life?”
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle.” “Are you having troubles in life?” “Where do you go in times of trouble? “Are you crying alone thinking that no one will listen to your cry?
11
We are full of troubles each and every day.
TROUBLES WILL COME We are full of troubles each and every day. We are being bombarded from right to left and from left to right…everyday! How? In many ways…SATAN! Job 14:1 – “Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble.”
12
TROUBLES WILL COME Psalm 6:2 NKJV[2] Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.

14
TROUBLES WILL COME Psalm 31:7 NKJV[7] I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, For You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities,
15

16
TROUBLES WILL COME Christians will face persecution.
“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:12)

HOW DO WE DEAL WITH TROUBLES?
Troubles we face are temporary. 2 Corinthians 4:8ff Persecutions, threats of death, imprisonments, beatings etc… How could he say these things were “light afflictions?” 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. “THIS TOO SHALL PASS”
18
HOW DO WE DEAL WITH TROUBLES?
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)

HOW DO WE DEAL WITH TROUBLES?
John 14:1-3 NKJV[1] "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. [2] In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18) IMPLIES A FUTURE TIME

HOW DO WE DEAL WITH TROUBLES?
Colossians 3:1-3 NKJV[1] If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. [2] Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. [3] For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.’ (Hebrews 12:1-2)
