Look for the Healthy Picks symbol in vending machines and cafeterias across KP. Use these Healthy Picks guidelines: Pick lean protein sources – fish, chicken, turkey, legumes, beans and low-fat or nonfat dairy. Choose good fats – nuts, avocados, canola and olive oil. Limit saturated fats found in animal products and avoid trans fats like hydrogenated oils. Cut out preservatives. Choose fresh foods.
