Assembly of God statement:
The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life

Step 1: (When going under the water – symbol of being buried)
You are joined with Jesus in his death & Burial
The old sin nature has been put to death & buried
Step 2: (When coming up out of the water- symbol of being born again)
You are raised up from the dead like Jesus ressurection
You now have the Holy Spirit & a new spiritual life

15. Stand up and Talk to your neighbor and ask: Have you believed in Jesus as your Savior and experienced the new life of the Holy Spirit in you? Have you been baptized after the point of your faith decision or are you planning to be?

Assembly of God statement:
The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements --bread and the fruit of the vine-- is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, a memorial of His suffering and death and a prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined on all believers "till He come!"

Truth 2: By His stripes our sin is paid in full & we are forgiven, healed, and have a new nature.
