Mutual funds A fund created for a group of investors to pool their money. These funds allow the group as a whole to go after larger investments. Consider a single person may not have enough money to buy 100 shares of Google stock ($ at last glance) A group of 50 people might have enough money to cover the amount however A professional takes control over the funds to decided what stocks and bonds to purchase/sell You do not have to be an expert to invest But if something goes wrong, all investors will share the pain

Stock activity Pretend you are a person placed in charge of attaining 500 shares of stock for an investment group. You have been given a budget of $75,000 Locate and calculate the best composition of the stock portfolio you would make. You cannot have more than 500 shares, must pick at least 3 companies and you cannot go over $75,000 You may work with a partner. Make sure both of your names are on the paper.
