2 Bachelor of Environment Three new majors offered within the Bachelor of Environment: Required core courses in the social and natural sciences Methodology, practice and communication Integrative capstone in collaboration and decision-making Proposal to go to Senate this Fall for approval starting Fall 2014 BEnv majors also to begin in Fall 2014 Entrance requirement: Math 12 (or equivalent)

3 Bachelor of Environment Major: Environmental Resource Management –Analytical methods, public participation, conflict resolution –Preparation for careers in forestry, fisheries, agriculture and tourism Major: Global Environmental Systems –Interaction of socio-economic and biophysical systems at the global scale –Climate change, carbon cycles, land use and land cover, energy technologies and transitions BEnv/BBA Joint Major in Sustainable Business (with Beedie) –Green entrepreneurship and innovation, environmental impact assessment and mitigation, energy and materials management

Admission from BC Colleges Bachelor of Arts 24 units Bachelor of Science 24 units with a transferable Math and two transferable Sciences (or these can be Grade 12 courses) Bachelor of Environment 24 units with a transferable Math

Five or six core courses required from either stream and one common course for both streams each term. Advising to determine majors will happen after admission; they will be allowed to choose their major of choice, provided admission requirements met.
