ACS Alarm Inputs Listener Integration Method Connection Type Protocol
Listener Local SMTP s The Listener is capable of receiving any alarms that are sent via the local area network as an SMTP . In order for the Listener to receive information, the SMTP settings of the Alarm Source’s server must be edited to match the IP address of the ACS Server. The ACS server should reside on the same network as the Alarm System. Local Area Network SMTP Serial ASCII Listener The Serial ASCII Listener is capable of receiving any alarms that are sent out as an ASCII message over a Serial Port. The Serial ASCII Listener can receive data either via a direct connection over a Serial cable or over the network with a Teldio approved Serial to Ethernet convertor. Serial Cable or Serial to USB Cable or Serial to Ethernet convertor RS-232 RS-422 RS-485 TAP Listener The TAP Listener can receive any alarms that are sent via the TAP protocol, with or without a login requirement. The Listener can send an acknowledgement back to the alarm source to receive the alarm message information. TAP

SMS Listener The SMS Text Listener can receive any Alarms that are sent over the Cellular Network to the ACS Server as a SMS Text message. Any messages that are sent as a SMS text messages must have a preceding keyword (Ex: #MSG#) The messages can be used to generate general alarms or panic alarms for the radios. The SMS Listener uses a GSM Gateway which supports GSM SIM Cards (AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers). GSM Gateway connected to Server with GSM SIM card. SMS Messages DMR Text Listener The DMR Text Listener can receive any Text Messages that are sent over a DMR Radio Network to the ACS Server. Any messages that are sent as a text messages must have a preceding keyword (Ex: #MSG#). The messages can also be used to generate general alarms or panic alarms for the radios. MOXA I/O Listener The MOXA listener can convert signals received from contact closures in to Alarms. Teldio provides a MOXA device which supports 12 Digital Inputs and sends alarms information to the ACS server over the Network. The MOXA device must reside on the same network as the ACS Server Local Area Network Contact Closures (Dry and Wet contacts) SNMP Listener The SNMP Listener is capable of receiving any SNMP based alarms that are sent to the IP address of the Teldio computer In order for the SNMP Listener to receive information, the appropriate MIB files must be loaded on to the SNMP Listener. The ACS server must reside on the same network as the Alarm System. SNMP OPC Listener The OPC Listener is capable of receiving any PLC/OPC based alarms that are sent to the IP address of the Teldio computer via OPC software. The OPC Listener is typically installed on the OPC Alarm Server. The ACS server must reside on the same network as the Alarm System. OPC/PLC

Phone Alarm Listener The Phone Alarm Listener allows users to raise an alarm by dialing a phone number. The alarm can be generated immediately when a phone number is dialed, or the system can be set up to give the user options (ex: press 1 for fire, press 2 for break-in). The system can also be set up to emulate paging someone where you enter in information such as call back numbers and send the dialed number to radios as a text message. To integrate via the Phone Alarm Listener, the ACS needs a connection to the customers IP PBX via SIP Trunks or the Analog PBX/POTS line via a gateway Local Area Network (for SIP Trunks) Phone Line Connection to Gateway (for Analog Phone systems) SIP Smartphone Listener The Smartphone Listener is capable of receiving any Alarms that are sent over an Internet connection (Wifi or Data Network) via Smartphone running the ACS Smartphone App. Internet Connection (via Wifi or Data Network) Wireless Command Line Listener The Command Line listener is capable of receiving HTTP Web Service messages in order to raise ACS alarms. The Listener also contains a client which is able to receive and trigger alarm information from the command line. Local Area Network HTTP Messages, Command Line Inputs.
