Track for a professional data person using Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Course (5 days)
For a private group course the duration and content could, of course, be customized
Appropriate for current and future DBAs, DB Developers, BI Developers, Report Writers, etc.
Intense course
Courseware Library 55232, Writing Analytical Queries for Business Intelligence (3 days)
Appropriate for BI Developers, Report Writers, and query writing generalists.
At the moment, offered infrequently
End user track
SQL Querying Fundamentals (1 day)
SQL Querying Advanced (1 day)
Both use Microsoft SQL Server and SSMS as the query writing tool (see next slide)
Appropriate for someone that infrequently works with data or needs very basic self-service report writing skills

Both tracks cover the following:
Introduction to the SELECT statement
Basic data filtering (WHERE clause)
Ordering results (ORDER BY clause)
Combining data from multiple tables (JOIN clause)
Summarizing data (GROUP BY and HAVING clauses)
The five day course has many more topics and is much more in-depth
