1st person—Participant in the story, uses I, We, Us 3rd person—an outsider, uses he/she/it/them Objective—only shows us what is seen and said, no comment on what characters are thinking Limited—only tells us of one character’s thoughts/motives Omniscient—tells us every character’s thoughts/motives Also includes the VOICE of the narrator: Age Cultural Background Bias Personality Education level Gender
