MODEM is a distinct delivery that significantly contributes to the common aim to achieve one (and only one) Unified Defence Enterprise Architecture Model (UDEAM), acting as a core foundation for an Unified Defence Enterprise Architecture Framework (UDEAF) .
After finalization of MODEM/UDEAM, next step should be to get involvement from tool vendors to implement the model in their tools respectively. By doing so in an interoperable way, defence will be able to harvest the benefits of the investment historically made in defence EA standardization activities.
This should be achieved through a recognized standardization body and by MODEM/UDEAM certification for different tools for defence EA.
If some other IDEAS nation take the lead on the future work, Sweden might consider how to support that effort (however, with lover ambition compared to the work with MODEM).
Thus, Sweden expect commitment showed as active deeds in form of financial and personnel resources made available by the rest of the IDEAS nations in order to consider further contributions to UDEAM.
