DO NOW: Put journal entry in the basket. On Monday you will need the following: 20-25 index cards A highlighter

Research Brochure The purpose of the Research Brochure is to be able to understand the process of research. We will visit the library for 2 or 3 class periods. You will take notes on note cards and 3 source cards for your Works Cited. You will be researching a specific topic under the general topic of Unexplained Phenomena.

Requirements: You MUST use Microsoft Word or Publisher. The template for Microsoft Word is on my website. You MAY NOT handwrite this brochure!

Aim: To learn how to set up Works Cited cards and Note Cards.
DO NOW: Take out your research packet.

Note Cards- When you take notes follow the format in filling out note cards.
# Topic (Which source card?) Only take 3 or 4 notes per card. This will make it very easy when outlining. DO NOT pack the cards with notes. pg. #
