Follow up on Criterion 20 from French CB on TAS: how are other CBs implementing this criterion? – (EC) The Criterion 20 of Decision 2009/578/CE states: 20. Breakfast Packaging Except where required by law, no single dose packages shall be used for breakfast or other food service, with the exception of dairy fat spreads (such as butter, margarine and soft cheese), chocolate and peanut butter spreads, and diet or diabetic jams and preserves. Problems with single dose YOGURTHS!!

2 Action plan agreed with France
A letter will be sent to all tourism accommodation holders to remind them the content of the criterion 20. It will be indicated that the yogurts cannot be accepted in a single dose packaging. However, it will also be clarified that home-made yogurt in single dose is accepted if the packaging (jars) used, are reused and reusable; 2) Tourism accommodation holders will be given 6 months maximum to be compliant with the criterion 20; 3) France will take advantage of meetings in region to inform also their license holders about this point; 4) The auditors will inform the hotel owners when they realize their checking.

3 Questions The Commission expects other countries in similar situation to implement appropriate corrective actions within the same timeframe. HOW ARE OTHER CBs behaving?
