CIVIC VIRTUE(Greek-Excellence)
Definition: morality or a standard of righteous behavior in relationships to a citizen’s involvement in society May exhibit by voting, volunteering, organizing a book group, or attending a public oriented meeting Civic: belonging to a city, citizen, citizenship, unnicipaor civil society Responsibility: state/quality of being responsible or something for which one is responsible such as duty, obligation or burden

Citizen: a person owing loyalty to and entitled by birth or naturalization to the protection of a stage or union. Citizenship: protective, responsible, caring and contributing members of society Civic virtue/ Civic responsibility: actions and attitudes associated with democratic governance and social participation

Importance of civic virtue
Citizen ensure and uphold democratic values such justice, truth, patriotisms, human rights, rule of law, tolerance, mutual assistance, self restrains and self respect. Why: How citizens relates to society, without understand of civic virtue citizens are less likely to look beyond their own families, friends, and economic interests.
