2 Banking Issues Review the signers on file with the bank
Send bank info to OFS bank accounts ( others than those used for direct deposit of stipend) Notify OFS if banking relationship changes Reminder: ALL accounts must have more than one signer

3 Medicare- a Federal Program
PART A PART B Hospital care Skilled nursing facility care Nursing home care Hospice Home health services Services or supplies needed to diagnose or treat medical condition Preventative service ( flu shot) Clinical research Ambulance services Durable medical equipment Mental health Second opinion before surgery Cost: $ per month

4 Medicare – Part D Prescription drug coverage: multiple plans with different costs, deductibles ( up to $400) and co-pays. AARP-20, Aetna-3, Bravo-2, Cigna-63, Caremark-2, Envision-6, Express Scripts-21, First Health-2, Humana-38, Magellan-1, Silverscript-108, Wellcare-19 Also 54 sisters covered through the PACE program and 49 sisters covered by other insurances.

Social Security Card Medicare (Pats A & B ) card

6 Medicaid- a State Program
Will pay the Medicare premiums ( $ per month per sister) Helps to cover the 20% of costs not covered by Medicare Keeps the prescription drug co pays low.

7 2016 Income $ Resource Level
Monthly Income for Single $ 1,367 Monthly Income for 65+ $ Allowed Resource Level $14,850 In 2015, the average social security payment for our sisters was $ 521.

8 Medicare Savings Program
A program run by the state to assists people with the cost of health care. We do not actively apply for this program but if a sister receives extra help in paying for her Medicare D ( prescription coverage), the state will automatically enroll you in the program. The card would look just like the Medicaid card but does not cover all the same services

9 Cigna Dental Coverage Calendar Limit- $3,000 Deductible $ 50
Preventative and Diagnostic Care 100% Basic Restorative Care % Major Restorative Care % (crowns, bridges, dentures)

10 Reimbursements If possible, do not requests reimbursements for expenses under $10--- $20 would be better. Maybe reimbursements could be submitted on a quarterly basis.
