3. A little about me… I grew up in NY and NC I graduated from BHS
I went to college at NCA&T & NCCU – Go Aggies! Go Eagles!
I majored in Industrial Technology, Technology Education, and School Administration
I have been married for almost 9 years
This is my 9th year teaching
I like to have fun while we learn!

5. Required Supplies Engineering Notebook!!!!!!!!!
Composition book with ¼ inch grid.
You can NOT pass this class without your engineering notebook!
Something to write with! I recommend different colors! (Color Pens, Pencils, Highlighters, etc)
Flash-drive (Optional)

6. Class Procedures Warm up, check the board and get started.
We will review your warm up answers together. Answers must be recorded to your Journal.
I will give a short lesson and/or explain your class work and assignments.
You will work at a positive pace, whatever you do not finish in class becomes HOMEWORK, so work smart. Homework will be assigned if necessary.

7. Start On Time
Students must be INSIDE the classroom PRIOR to class time
Students will be limited in the amount of hall passes written during the semester.
Students will not be allowed out of class without a pass. Failure to comply with this will result in a write up.

8. If you are TARDY
Place your late pass on my desk and Quietly join in the classroom activities.
If you do not have a late pass when you come to class, still quietly join in activities.

9. Grading Scale 100 – 90 = A 89 – 80 = B 79 – 70 = C 69 – 60 = D
Under 60 = F

10. Turning in assignments
Please turn in all written assignments on time through in your classes dropbox.
Make sure the you place your online assignments in thru Google Classroom.
Late assignments will lose points.

11. Lanschool – Remember I am watching you!!!
Computer Don’ts
NO GAMES
NO Music VIDEOS – (YouTube, Etc)
NO MUSIC during warm-ups / lessons
NO DOWNLOADING
Do not change the setup on the computers

12. Cellphones / Electronics
May not be visible in the classroom
May not be sitting on the desk
May not listen to music via your cellphone / electronics
May not charge your phone in class
Infractions (examples)
If your phone is out
If your phone rings or vibrates
If you are caught texting
1st Time – Warning
2nd Time – Will take it, put it in my desk, you get it back after 2:15
3rd Time - Your phone will be taken, put in an envelope. Your Parent/Guardian must come to the school to sign for it.
