v37 -38: He was sorrowful & troubled to the point of death.
v38: Lonely and looking for emotional support.
v39 (& 42/44): Faced with something that is humanly undesirable. Hoping for avoidance or escape.
v (43): Emotional support was not there when needed.
v 39 - Total submission: “ Yet not my will, but as you will”
