1 Indiana Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Advisory Board 2018 - 2021
Goals: Review and input on the new ISDH - RHI Administration for Community Living (ACL) Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) State Partnership Program Mentor State Grant: Improving Health Outcomes following Traumatic Brain Injury through Building a TBI-informed System of Services and Supports and Resource Facilitation. Conduct a new TBI Needs and Resources Survey. Complete an Updated Indiana TBI State Plan with annual updates. Establish a Consumer Task Force of the Advisory Board. Establish a Criminal Justice Task Force of the Advisory Board. Provide TBI education and information to members of Advisory Board that may be relevant or helpful to the participants. Promote awareness of TBI and TBI resources. Contribute to improving outcomes for people with TBI.

3 Participants: Consumers and their families Stakeholders from applicable state governmental agencies Stakeholders from public and private organizations which are relevant to TBI Advisory Board and grant leadership Structure: We will have a meeting each quarter. Two of these meetings (autumn and spring) will be 3.5 hours long and will include new TBI research or developments relevant to the Advisory Board. The winter and summer meetings will be 2.5 hours long. All meetings will be held at the Rice Auditorium at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46204 The schedule for the meetings is as follows: September 5, :00 – 4:30 December 7, :00-4:30 March 7, :00-4:30 June 6, :00-4:30
