Environment scanning refers to thorough, consistent and often daily processing of an organisation’s internal and external environments in order to identify risks, trends and opportunities that could influence or threaten the organisation’s future.

Give a clear indication of the area you are scanning and the key issues to be addressed in details

Predictions that may have an impact to the programme or visit by Political Principal in that particular area.

8. RECOMMENDATIONS
The report to be presented to the leadership of the Municipality and other intergovernmental platforms.
Leadership of the Municipality to ensure that the report is escalated to the responsible departments/Institutions for feedback and action.
Local government communicators to create platforms of engagement to ensure that feedback is provided on issues raised.
To ensure that the issues raised are addressed within the set timeframes.
