Verbs like gustar Some verbs that seem like they should be reflexive actually follow the pattern that relates to gustar and are used with an indirect pronoun.

-Doler (ue): (to hurt, to suffer from pain) 1.A Carmen le duele la garganta. -Hacer falta: (to be necessary/lacking) 2. Les hace falta hacer más quehacer. -Importar: (to be important, to matter) 3. No me importa. -Parecer: (to seem) 4. ¿Te parece fácil? 1.Carmens throat hurts. 2.They need to do more chores. 3.It does not matter to me. 4.Does it seem easy (to you)?

Prepositions In Spanish an infinitive is the only form of a verb that can be used after a preposition. (Verbs that end in –ar, -er, or –ir.) Leo sin gafas. -I read without glasses. If the verb after the preposition is reflexive, the reflexive pronoun must be attached to the end of the infinitive and must agree with the subject. Después de levantarte, debes bañarte. After getting up, you should bathe.
