Turning inserts with Duratomic ® technology TP2501
Chipbreaker M3 as first choice for medium to rough machining; the most versatile Seco chipbreaker. Offers best useful life and best chipbreaking in a wide range of cutting data and workpiece materials. Chipbreaker M6 is a strong double-sided chipbreaker, intended for semi-roughing and roughing of steel. The well-balanced design combines excellent chip control and relatively low cutting forces providing reliable cutting action in both continuous as well as interrupted cuts. Also suited for ferritic and martensitic stainless steels.
TP2501 is a Duratomic® technology coated grade. Designed with high wear resistance and edge strength applicable in a wide range of turning applications in steels as well as many stainless steels and cast irons. Ti(C,N) + Al2O3 + used edge decetion (Chrome).

Mulit-Directional Turning Seco MDT
Seco MDT (Multi Directional Turning) consists of holders and inserts for external radial, external axial and internal machining. The system can be used for: Turning, Profiling, Grooving, Parting-off, and Threading. The combination of V-shaped top clamp and serrated contact surfaces between insert and toolholder offers superb stability.
CP500 is a tough micrograin grade intended for finishing to medium-roughing of stainless steels with wide applicability for example in steels and aluminium alloys. Especially suitable in intermittent cuts. (Ti,Al)N + TiN.
