What is CIRCABC? CIRCABC is a web-based service provided by the European Commission. It is used to create collaborative workspaces where communities of users can work together and share information and resources CIRCABC is a service managed and provided by ISA framework OSS (Open Source Software version) of CIRCABC is available on Joinup:

What is CIRCABC - Interest group
Through CIRCABC, you can manage content, administer users and communicate via collaborative groups called Interest Groups Interest Group Information Library Main folder Release documents Brainstorming Meeting Events Newsgroups Report topic Organization Members

Once logged with your ECAS account you can see all your Interest groups from the main page of CIRCABC

Visit the library The Library is the place where the documents are stored, shared and managed This service is made of spaces & content Any space can contain sub-spaces & content

Insert the title and click on 'Create space'

Add Content (Upload document to the Library)

Browse , upload, add main properties and click on 'Finish' You can disable the notification mechanism for each upload

Modify the properties of a document
you may see some properties from the main page of the library, depending on how the leaders have configured the library

Download a document You can download by from the “content” pane or from the properties of the document

Copy the document and paste it as link

Upload the contents along with their structure (folders and sub-folders)

Build an archive (.ZIP) containing The documents to be uploaded An index which includes the properties of these documents. The index is optional.

Browse, Upload and Import the ZIP file Your upload will be available as ZIP file in the content part and extracted in a few seconds (depends on the workload)

Notification To keep yourself aware of any upload made into the library of your Interest Group? To follow at any time the conversations your fellow-members are exchanging through the newsgroups?

Notification You can enable the notification for the entire library or a part of it
