Steps for registering on the University Field Experience Tracking System

2. Welcome to JCPS
We are excited that you are completing your field experience in JCPS.
Before you begin, we need you to register in the JCPS University Field Experience Tracking System
After registering in the tracking system, you will be prompted to enter your social security number.
Then you can proceed with registering and completing the Field Experience Background Check and, visiting the EZ Pay payment site to pay the associated fee.

4. EZ Pay Record Check Payment Site
You will be guided through registration instructions.

5. After completing the EZ Pay process, you will now need to complete your background check for the field experience.
The “check” for field experience students is the district’s volunteer records check. Unlike the federal criminal background check, this is a STATE level check. No fingerprints are required.
On the field service registration page, you will select “Go to Background Check Site.”

6. After clicking on the field experience background check link, a new window will open for the School Volunteer Records Check; click to sign up online

7. Enter personal information
If you think you have done this before click check the status
You should be able to find out whether or not you are already in the system by entering in your SS#, DOB and last name

8. Confirmations
You will not receive confirmation from JCPS so it is important to print the EZ pay confirmation of payment.
