Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second.  And by that will, we have been made holy (sanctified) through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

24. When I believe in Christ, an eternal reality is created.
I am given life that will never end!

Their commitment to Christ
Their baptism
Their lifestyle
Of course, no one should have assurance who has not believed in Christ alone to give them life.

32. Not everyone who claims to be a Christian is.
Many have never believed in Christ alone for eternal life; they are “false professors”.
Not everyone who claims to be a Christian is.
When one depends on other things to give them life, they do not have it.

33. We lack nothing in our relationship with Christ!
Because of the Cross, the work of Christ is final and we are complete in Him.

When we confess, we are forgiven.
That’s true, even when we don’t feel like it is true.
