1. Romans 3:9-12 (NKJV)
9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. 10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.”

3. A Very Real Problem
Any discussion of basic things should include man’s greatest problem
If we are going to seek the old paths, we need to understand the alternative paths that lead to destruction
We need to see sin as a problem in need of a solution, and not just a bother

5. Sin Is A Pandemic
Sin has effected everyone from the first man all the way to you and I
Romans 3:9-12
This would certainly be defined as a pandemic of epic proportions
Yet it seems as though the world is not the least bit concerned about it

7. Awareness of Sin
We need to be as aware of the problem and symptoms as we have been about things such as Ebola
Romans 1:29-32
I Corinthians 6:9-10
Galatians 5:19-21
Revelation 21:8

9. Sin Can Deceive
One of the reasons sin is so dangerous is because it can deceive us
We think we are ok or we do not have a problem (Js. 1:16)
Sin is deceptive by nature, so we must trust God’s word, not our own heart (Jer. 17:9)

11. Solution For Sin
If sin was not a problem, God would not have provided a solution
John 3:16
The solution for sin was found in Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:6-8)
The solution is there for all who are willing to obey (Heb. 5:9)
